I run the operations that move orders from checkout to doorstep, and I sell the logistics that make it possible.

About
I have spent my career on both sides of the logistics relationship. As an operator, I bought warehousing, 3PL, and final mile delivery for high growth ecommerce retailers, and answered for every missed window and damaged shipment. As a business developer at a national 3PL, I designed, priced, and sold those same services. That combination is rare: I know where a quote is padded, which SLAs a partner can actually hold, and what it takes to deliver what sales commits.
The numbers behind that: I grew new business revenue 70%+ in a year, from $5.68M to an annualized $9.7M. I cut annual freight costs 29.3%. I led a 50+ person organization through 100%+ year over year growth, and I have been leading teams continuously since 2008. I care about clarity, measurable outcomes, and building systems that let a business scale without breaking.
These days I also build software. Since late 2025 I have shipped five live products on web and Android by directing AI coding agents as product owner, architect, and reviewer, roughly 260,000 lines of production code across nine repositories.

Designing, shipping, and operating a portfolio of AI-assisted software products while acting as product owner, systems architect, and technical reviewer. I define product vision, decompose work into agent-ready tasks, review architecture, and accept every production change.
- Built Flotillas Adrift, a persistent multiplayer simulation platform: deterministic tide-by-tide simulation with offline catch-up, server-authoritative validation, cheat detection via deterministic replay of journaled actions, cross-device cloud saves with conflict resolution, and 5,000+ automated tests behind CI-gated deploys.
- Released WordWeft on Google Play and the web — real-time multiplayer storytelling with a Claude-powered grading backend, prompt-injection defenses, and HMAC-signed anti-cheat.
- Deployed a live Model Context Protocol (MCP) server exposing a provenance-tracked knowledge base of 75 verified career accomplishments, with deterministic anti-hallucination guardrails.
- Built custom AI tooling end to end: generation scripts against the Google AI Studio API (Gemini image with style-reference conditioning, Lyria music, Veo video), an OpenAI image API sprite pipeline behind the Wefty arcade games, and the Captain Foundry — a prompt pack, JSON schema, and local card builder that lets any player generate their own captain portrait on their own ChatGPT account, with no server and no photo storage.
- Designed repeatable AI-assisted development workflows that coordinate multiple specialized coding agents across vendors, enforce architectural standards through written playbooks and a claim protocol for parallel sessions, govern cost through model routing, and hold quality through automated testing, lint ratchets, CI gates, and cross-vendor pull request review.

Outside of work
I've volunteered with the Civil Air Patrol, the U.S. Air Force Auxiliary, since 2011, and I commanded our squadron from 2016 to 2018: 60+ volunteers, two aircraft, and our state's top emergency-services rating. It's where I learned that good leadership is mostly preparation and trust.
At home in Buffalo Grove, I'm a husband and a dad of two (plus two dogs who are convinced they count too), and most weekends are built around family.
Off the clock I'm hands-on: a new deck, the backyard pool project, a full run of raised garden beds every summer. I also collect world banknotes and mechanical tool watches, mostly as excuses to fall down a good history-and-design rabbit hole.
I also build software in the collectibles space: Coins and Bills (coinsandbills.net) is a collection tracker I designed and shipped around a 15,606 type banknote catalogue covering 369 countries.
